Fruit Trifle with Pure Butter Madeleines

  • Madeleines: 12
  • Mixed berries: 2 cups
  • Custard: 2 cups
  • Whipped cream: 1 cup
  • Sugar: 2 tbsp
  • Grand Marnier: 2 tbsp
  • Mint leaves: for garnish

Instructions

  1. Break the madeleines into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, macerate the berries with sugar and Grand Marnier for 15 minutes.
  3. In serving glasses, create layers: start with madeleine pieces at the bottom.
  4. Add a layer of custard over the madeleines.
  5. Add a layer of macerated berries with their juices.
  6. Top with a dollop of whipped cream.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
