Ingredients
- Large Wild Mediterranean Red Shrimp - Extra Large: 1.5 lbs
- Pineapple: 1 cut into chunks
- Bell peppers: 2 cut into squares
- Red onion: 1 cut into chunks
- Teriyaki sauce: 1/2 cup
- Honey: 2 tbsp
- Garlic: 2 cloves minced
- Ginger: 1 tbsp minced
- Sesame seeds: for garnish
Instructions
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- In a bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger.
- Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for 20 minutes.
- Thread the shrimp, pineapple chunks, bell pepper squares, and onion chunks alternately onto the skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, turning once.
- Brush with the remaining marinade while grilling.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
