Shrimp and Pineapple Skewers

Ingredients

  • Large Wild Mediterranean Red Shrimp - Extra Large: 1.5 lbs
  • Pineapple: 1 cut into chunks
  • Bell peppers: 2 cut into squares
  • Red onion: 1 cut into chunks
  • Teriyaki sauce: 1/2 cup
  • Honey: 2 tbsp
  • Garlic: 2 cloves minced
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp minced
  • Sesame seeds: for garnish

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a bowl, mix the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, and ginger.
  3. Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for 20 minutes.
  4. Thread the shrimp, pineapple chunks, bell pepper squares, and onion chunks alternately onto the skewers.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, turning once.
  6. Brush with the remaining marinade while grilling.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.
