I had considered purchasing this pâté for some time but refrained from doing so because of the cranberries, which I feared would provide the wrong flavor (i.e., not sufficiently French!). I was wrong. This pâté is excellent. The cranberries, only slightly noticeable, are part of a well-designed background to the delightful venison flavor which, in case some are fearful, is not at all gamey. Well worth the price and i will order again.
