The story of LU began in 1850 in the seaside city of Nantes, when a baker named Monsieur Lefebvre married Mademoiselle Utile. Together, they created fine biscuits and marked each package with their shared initials — LU. From those beginnings grew one of France’s most beloved and iconic biscuit brands.
