Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Fruit:
- Wash and dry the berries. Slice the strawberries if they are large.
Dice the peaches or mangoes into small cubes.
In a large bowl, combine the berries and diced fruit. Add lemon juice and granulated sugar, then gently toss to mix. Let the fruit sit for about 15 minutes to macerate.
- 2. Whip the Cream:
- In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
Add vanilla extract and powdered sugar, then continue whipping until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

- Slice the Pure Butter Madeleines in half lengthwise.
In a large trifle bowl or individual serving glasses, start with a layer of Madeleines at the bottom.
Spoon a layer of vanilla custard or pudding over the Madeleines.
Add a layer of the mixed fruits.
Follow with a layer of whipped cream.
Repeat the layers (Madeleines, custard, fruit, whipped cream) until the bowl or glasses are filled, ending with a layer of whipped cream.
- 4. Garnish:
- Top with a few fresh berries and mint leaves for garnish.
Optionally, sprinkle with a little more powdered sugar for a decorative touch.
- 5. Chill:
- Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.

- For added flavor, you can brush the Madeleines with a bit of fruit juice or liqueur before layering.
